The NY Times takes a peek at Rancho Mirage, a forthcoming 244-room Ritz-Carlton hotel with 150 residences in Coachella Valley. The development is housed on the site of the former Lodge at Rancho Mirage (pictured above). According to Hotel Chatter, the Lodge was once used as a site for a wedding for "The Bachelorette" television show, but thankfully the whole place was demolished.
The homes start at $895,000, while an mysterious celebrity chef will likely be overseeing a restaurant at the development, according to the press release. The hotel will open this December and the residences next May, according to the Times, although this press release indicates the project is opening sooner, so we really have no idea.
