Talks in Tarzana

Tarzana town meeting time! Next week, Pacific Equities Properties will talk about the next phase of Village Walk, the 200,000 square foot mixed-use complex on Ventura Blvd that'll include, yes, a Whole Foods Market. The size might have changed, but according to this Whole Foods investor conference call from 2005, the store will be 56,000 square feet.

There'll also be a discussion of Tarzana Crossing, a new transit village proposed at the intersection of Reseda Blvd. and the Orange Line. Tarzana Property Owners Association president David Garfinkle tells the Daily News that it's "crucial" to receive feedback from community members at these meetings. No word if Tarzana residents will demand more creatively-named projects than "Village Walk" and "Crossing," but here's hoping.
