CurbedWire: Stores & Office

SANTA MONICA - If you can wait that long, the July/August issue of Frame Magazine will look at Maguire Partner's offices in Santa Monica, designed by Clive Wilkinson Architects, and "inspired by the ocean." In lieu of actually having the magazine in hand, the site features several photos for perusing. Well worth the look. CWA also did the amazing work at Google Headquarters in Silicon Valley. [Frame]

BEVERLY HILLS - No excuses for writing us letters on ripped pieces of grocery sacks anymore. Smythson, the British luxury stationery store (is there really such a thing as luxury stationery?), is opening up shop in Beverly Hills reports WWD.com. "The 2,000-square-foot store will be housed in a former Pierre Deux unit at Two Rodeo Drive, with neighbors including Versace, Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton." Shoppers will have their pick of fine papers and leathery goods for carrying said papers. [WWD.com]

El SEGUNDO - The kids in the Gundo are about to get their healthy, overpriced food like civilized people. Via our sister Eater, we learn that the ES Whole Foods will be opening up tomorrow morning. No word on giveaways or pony rides. [CurbedWire Inbox/Eater]
