LA is notoriously anti-big box development, especially if said big box retailer rhymes with "Small Heart." In the latest Google mashup to sort of interest us, but only barely, Big Box Watch is now providing tracking information for new big-box retail development. As you can see from the above map, LA metro can expect an Ikeaa BEST BUY in San Dimas and a J.C Penney in Chino. Fascinating. Wake us up when they develop a fro-yo shop tracker.
