Firstly, a New York reader emails in asking for an update on the progress of the Tesco Fresh and Easy flagship store in Hollywood. "I saw your pictures of the Tesco flagship store under construction in Hollywood from late March on your website and was very interested. I was wondering if you or your friends at oosoomdotcom may have any updated pictures or anecdotes regarding the the progress of its construction or any other Tesco Fresh and Easy stores in the area. Thanks for posting the original pictures. I look forward to following the development of the new retail concept." Over the weekend, we coincidentally stopped by the Hollywood Galaxy to see if any progress had been made. As you can see from the picture above, nothing has changed since our last update although we did see plenty of square-stater tourists ogling the pit.
Secondly, by email and rss feed we learn that Fresh & Easy is now on the world wide internet. The info is still kind of scant though, as they fail to identify the location of any of their shops or product offerings.
