Sort of Possible: LA Flood Maps

Let's all pretend the polar ice caps melt and sea levels rise, ummm... say 39 feet. Sweet Pete, look at the disaster that awaits us! Thanks to an innovative Google Maps mashup, we can now estimate the disaster ready to strike LA at any moment should sea levels rise due to global warming or any other watery disaster. The worst hit areas will be the ports and pieces of Orange County. Even a one foot meter rise in water levels affects parts of Long Beach and overruns PCH in many areas.
