So Martha Stewart and KB Home are building Terreno Vista, a 97-home development opening in fall 2007 in Lancaster, California. The homes are all one- and two-story residences ranging from 1,875 to 2,968 square feet, and prices start in the low $300s. According to the release, the residences are inspired by Martha Stewart’s personal homes in Maine and New York. (Cough.) Anyway, this is the ninth KB Home-Martha Stewart community. We've yet to see any of the actual communities, but we hope that the homes are better than her Kmart sheets--those suckers are not soft at all, in fact, they sorta scratch us.
