Curbed's Ugliest Building Contest -- Day 21

Hello readers. According to our calendars, time is running out for you to submit your nomination for Curbed LA's Ugliest Building Contest. We need you to email us immediately at la@curbed.com with your nomination. In addition to a brief description of why you're nominating the building, your submission should include one of the following: 1. a picture. 2. a web link, or 3.Local Live Link. Remember: Nominees must be from the CITY OF LA. None of this Santa Monica shit.

Entries must be received by March 31, 2007. A panel of judges will select the winner and runner-ups. The winner, announced at the end of the month, will receive a free dinner for four at Shakey's Pizza AND prominent mention on Curbed LA.

Our latest submission comes from a reader who likes the guts of the building to be on the inside, not on the roof. "6013 Olympic Blvd., Mid-City, L.A., near the intersection of Olympic, San Vicente and Fairfax. This has been a rental building for ages...looks like it was built or made-over in the 1980's. It's just plain ugly...all of that visible equipment on the roof is unsightly; it looks like the building was chopped in half; there's no symetry. By the way, it's right across the street from Shakey's Pizza!"
