Another week, another Chili Pepper selling his home. Bassist Flea is asking $4.8 million for his four-bedroom Malibu home. Quite a lot of lovely trees surround the estate, which has a two bedroom guest house and one bedroom guest apartment. Apparently, Flea and his model girlfriend Frankie Rayder (pictured above, while Rayder was still pregnant) will now be residing permanently in Malibu. Turns out Avril Lavigne isn't so hardcore. Real Estalker show off pics of her 6,864 square foot, five- bedroom Beverly Hills Post Office home, currently on the market for $6.9 million. The estate includes a tennis court, pool, and spa, while apparently Lavigne also enjoys herself a meditation garden.

The LA Times profiles a castle in VEGAS built by a magician named Lance Burton. The six-bedroom castle is "clad in black split-faced concrete block to match the hillside, which is covered in black volcanic rock and desert vegetation." Burton lives in the castle with his golden retriever Monty. We have yet to understand why this made the "Hot Properties" section. Slow week, apparently.

Camp to celebrity spawn, Cottontail Ranch in Malibu is for sale for $8 million to $9 million. It was donated to Pepperdine University, which is selling the 23-acre camp.
