"We were all amazed to see Lindsay moving in," a neighbor at the El Palacio building tells Contact Music. The site claims the actress has purchased Marilyn Monroe's former two-bedroom apartment in the West Hollywood building, and plans to move in once her stint at rehabs ends. No other publication is reporting this news so we really have no clue if this it true. Odd fact that we do know: Dorothy Dandridge lived in The El Palacio and committed suicide there in 1965.
UPDATE: Per Wikipedia, the El Palacio apartments at 8493 Fountain Avenue is also the location where twenty-year-old oil heiress Georgette Elise Bauerdorf was strangled to death in 1944. Sounds like a lovely place.
