Price Watch: The Valley

Median So-Cal home prices declined in January in all areas except the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, and Riverside/San Bernardino. Looking specifically at the Valley, the median price of an existing home in rose 4.6 percent to $554,500 compared to a year ago.

Here's a breakdown of median homes prices in the Valley for January:
Encino: $722,500.
Woodland Hills: $720,000.
Northridge: $730,000.
