Curbed is hiring in San Francisco, for both Curbed SF and our upcoming title, Eater SF.
Curbed SF, Contributing Editors: Curbed is looking for a blogger or two with ample local knowledge to contribute wit and charm to our growing real estate blog. More specifically, we're seeking real estate obsessives and neighborhood savants to craft a couple of posts a day on topics near and dear to them. We are looking for writers to cover all geographic areas of San Francisco.
Eater SF, Editor: Eater is looking for an editor to write and manage Eater SF (coming soon). Said person will have extensive knowledge of the San Francisco restaurant and nightlife scene and its players, plenty of eating experience, and will be able to sit at a restaurant table without asking the question, "I'm sorry, did you say this was a 28- or 29-day aged ribeye?" Also, perhaps the ideal candidate will have a touch of wit to boot. The editor will be expected to post 4-6 items daily, run his/her own intelligence gathering, and dispatch photographers and supporting writing staff as needed.
For all positions, blogging, comedy writing, and basic HTML know-how all preferred but not required; same goes for industry writing experience. Compensation is a combination of cash and glory, with an emphasis on the latter.
