Following yesterday's news about the new monorail line at Disney, the company forward us pictures--and info about what's going in these photos: "A brand new Mark VII Monorail was hoisted into place backstage at Disneyland Park...the train arrived in five pieces via flatbed truck, and was delicately hoisted onto the 20-foot-tall beam. The new fleet of monorails, three in total, will replace the current Mark V models which made their debut in 1987." The new red line will begin testing in January with passenger service starting late February--good news for those whose own LA monorail dreams will likely never come true. [Paul Hiffmeyer, Disney]
