Hell bent on finding one of those elusive Los Angeles plots of land to build a home, Linda Pollari and Robert Somol, of architecture firm P XS, settled down on a 8,000-square-foot piece at Olympic Boulevard and South Highland Avenue, an intersection where 80,000 cars pass daily. Despite the noise, the couple love their home, reports the Architectural Record. They even like this part: Every time the outside traffic camera takes a picture, it's like a "flash of lightning inside the house," reports the couple.
