On the Market: Eric Owen Moss-Designed Pasadena Townhouse

New, 18 comments

Not the most dynamic video tour, no. And it's almost shocking how cheap and poorly-constructed this townhouse looks given its pedigreed provenance. The kitchen alone could be a candidate for our "That's Rather Hideous" feature. Via the listing: "This bright, upscale townhouse is in a complex designed by noted postmodern architect Eric-Owen Moss. The complex is mentioned in An Architectural Guidebook to Los Angeles by David Gebhard and Robert Winter...There are three levels in this unit with the impressive master suite taking up the entire third level....New paint, new hardwood floors in living room, new carpet, new travertine floors in kitchen and bathrooms, new screens." Listing price: $609,000.
