LA is getting its first weeHouse: St. Paul, Minnesota-based firm Alchemy Architects, which trademarked the prefab modular structure, has designed a three-unit weeHouse (yes, that's how it's spelled) development for Valevista Trail. A family is planning to build the development, which is currently in the permit phase, and sell the homes, Betsy Gabler, Alchemy's head of marketing and business development tells us. FYI for those wishing for a wee home of their own, it costs about $140-$190 a square foot to build a weeHouse.
