Our hometown (by way of Toronto) boy Frank Gehry is getting into a little bit of scuffle with the brainiacs at MIT. Apparently, they're unhappy with the Stata Center, a $300 million academic complex they paid Gehry $15 million to design. According to the lawsuit, the amphitheater is cracking, there are leaks, mold, and drainage backs up. Ew. The suit alleges "Gehry breached its duties by providing deficient design services and drawings" and seeks unspecified damages for costs incurred by the school to fix the design flaws. [Boston Globe]
