In the latest Malibu fire, dozens of homes appear to be fully engulfed and/or destroyed. ABC7 says the fire broke out around 3:30 am and is now burning around the Newell Road/Malibu Bowl area, west of Pepperdine, in the areas that were left untouched in the last round of fires. Present estimates put the size of the fire at 600 acres. High winds are to blame once again, but they are expected to calm this afternoon.
