Last night we caught a bit of Huell Howser's tour through Downtown's Old Bank District on KCET. In the thirteenth segment of his Downtown series, Huell was naturally "wow"ed and "would ya look at this"'d through the restored St. Vibiana's Cathedral, Pete's Cafe and a nail shop. He was guided by developer Tom Gilmore, whose perpetual coat-over-shoulder look is undergoing a resurgence we are told. If the above minute long clip whets your appetite, you can purchase the DVD from the California Gold site or wait for the segment to be rerun.
