The Museum of Tolerance is a bad neighbor, according to some West LA residents, who complain about tour buses and parking spot stealers, notes the LA Times. And now the museum wants to build a two-story cultural center with a cafe and rooftop garden, part of a plan that'd expand the museum's operating hours (vistors would be now be able to party until midnight) and change the 100-foot buffer--that separates the museum from nearby homes--to 20 feet. Meanwhile, those who support the museum--and there are plenty of people, including most of our elected politicians, as well as other neighbors--point the finger, saying a nearby high school is causing the trash and noise.
