It seems the Wall Street Journal has discovered our little corner of American theater down on Broadway, with its Art Deco and Beaux Arts architecture, check cashing shops and retail marts. The Journal thinks that the latest attempts to revitalize the nightlife in the area actually have some promise, if the theater owners can do something about those inconvenient homeless parking their tents nearby and those Hispanic shop owners "who eventually will be expected to upgrade their restaurants and shops, or move." LA's own cowboy, Brady Westwater, gets a little ink too, with his very un-cowboy-like entreaty "Downtown is big enough for everybody."
