Good news for renters who like new digs: Santa Monica Collection's sprawling rental development on the corner of Santa Monica and 4th Street looks nearly completed. The sea-green tile on the sides of the building evokes an oceanic theme, but judging from the construction tape, the cubes need some more work. Tiger pens, perhaps. The perky girl at the rental office said the developer of the building, which hasn't officially opened for leasing yet, has a strict policy of not revealing rents, so just guess living here will cost you anywhere from $2,000-$10,000/month.
