Some interesting gossip just found its way into the Curbed InBox: "I just heard some news on Park Fifth in downtown LA from a pretty reliable source. Apparently, the project lost its main investor and is quite likely no more. They have shut down, and fired all their sales staff and internal marketing director and staff. No one answers the phone, yet their website is still up and running." Without verification, Curbed has no clue as to whether this piece of gossip is true. If it's true, please take down that huge sign. And if it's not true, keep up the good work, developers! Looking forward to seeing your pretty building! UPDATE: Yup, the project is looking for a new investor, confirms a trusted Curbed source.
