Bouncing back from earlier reports of its demise, the Children's Museum of Los Angeles is getting $10 million from an anonymous donor, says the LA Times, and is back on track for a March 2009 opening. The donation hasn't changed anyone's mind about building the new facility in Lake View Terrace. Otherwise known as the Hansen Dam Recreation Area. Otherwise known as why-the-hell go all the way out on the 210 to the northeast corner of the San Fernando Valley when every other children's museum (Kidspace, Zimmer, ScienCenter) is, like, near stuff.
