Ground was broken on Phase II of CIM's Midtown Crossing project at Pico and San Vicente sometime in late September. As you may recall, midtowners, as they're now called, have been waiting for the development of this ugly lot for many, many years. We stopped by the site a few days ago to take some snaps while dodging traffic and worrying we might be shot. Lovely neighborhood. The project will feature a new Lowe's and more big box retailers, including a Circuit City (based on renderings). It is scheduled for completion in late 2008.
