Previously, Curbed mentioned the $999,000 Cypress Park house that went on the market Sept. 1 and came with a free, live-in houseboy named Jake. Sad news: "We've had no offers for the house or the houseboy," Clint Arthur, the owner, tells us. Hence, on October 1, the houseboy offer was rescinded and the price dropped to $849,000. (Which proves that a good houseboy goes for about $150,000.) As for Jake? "He's been doing movies," says Arthur. "And he's been carrying on as a freelance houseboy."
