Inside Mandel Lofts, But What's Mystery Retail?

Blogger Angelenic gets inside downtown's Mandel lofts, a rental building at 7th and Olive streets opening in November. What all that beamed wood OR concrete will cost ya: About $2 per square foot, and units range from 1,200 square feet--1,050 square feet (there's a big penthouse that'll top out at 9,000 square feet). PLUS: A 7-11 and frozen dessert shop are scheduled to open on the ground floor, and there's some more yet-to-be-announced retail excitement--Angelenic believes it to be some sort of mini-mall on par with the one at the Mercury.
