The Hollywood Chamber newsletter has a blurb on the status of the Gerding-Edlen project proposed to be built in and around the former Old Spaghetti Factory site on Sunset Boulevard.

The project includes 40,000-sq.ft. of creative office space, 13,500-sq.ft. of retail space, 311-for sale condos of which 60 units will be targeted at the underserved mid-market segment, and a half-acre park. As part of the project, the Old Spaghetti Factory building, which has been deemed historic, will be preserved. The proposed development will next move to the full Planning Commission on January 10, 2008 for approval. Developers hope to break ground on the 23-story project next spring. Like Gerding-Edlen's other project, discussed in Rumblings & Bumblings, this project is expected to receive LEED Gold Certification.
