September Sales in LA: Slowest Since 1988

Not to pile on the bad news, but this morning, DataQuick released its September numbers: Sales of new and resell homes were down 29.9 percent from August and down 48.5 percent from a year before. Blaming the jumbo mortgage fall-out, DataQuick analysts say September was the slowest sales month since at least 1988. Read the whole press release here.
