Rumblings & Bumblings: Waxed in Hollywood

As per usual, we post questions, and we hope you provide the answers, because the readers are the real stars here at Curbed. Fuhh. Please feel free to email us at or leave an answer in our comments slot.

1) Playa Vista: This is an excellent question, that we expect somebody official to answer. "As I was sitting in traffic on lincoln blvd. in westchester through playa vista today, it got me wondering if there's a 'master plan' somewhere for a new lincoln blvd.? Not unlike the slow-moving sunset-vine tower, i can't understand why they can build ten thousand condos and apartments, but can't ever seem to finish fixing up lincoln. I'm eager to find out what they're actually doing to help traffic through the area."

2) Hollywood: A wax enthusiast writes in: "...what's up with Madame Tussaud's in Hollywood? I saw they set up a production (?) office on the Boulevard. When is ground breaking?"

3) Hollywood: Another empty space: "What's up with that retail space on the corner of Wilshire and La Brea (northeast corner)? Great glass windows, perfect for a restaurant, but vacant FOREVER..."
