A few readers have wondered about the new construction going up just a block away from the boardwalk on Brooks Avenue in Venice. Via Studio City-based Schdmidt Architecture's site: "These two lofts take advantage of their location by maximizing ocean views from various rooms as well as roof top decks....the design strategy also provides privacy for each unit despite the small lot size."
