More Pirate Ship Sightings

Readers are indicating that the mysterious pirate ship on someone's lawn in Burbank is some annual Halloween decoration, and just one of many ships put up to both scare and amuse children for the holiday. Writes a reader: "I found this pirate ship in south Redondo Beach this morning. I think it was a Halloween decoration that eventually worked its way into the landscape design." Bigger shot of weird thing after the jump.
UPDATE, 12:24 PM PST: More info coming in from our reader: "It's on Palos Verdes Blvd. and Prospect Ave. It is attached to a large cinder block wall at the end of the homes’ driveway....the thing is probably 20 feet tall and 30 feet long. Not a functional pirate ship like the one in Burbank, but it is still a spectacle!"
