Morning Dose of Archi-porn

(renderings via OC Register)

Hoping to create excitement in Costa Mesa, local planners have approved eight luxury condo towers in the area around the South Coast Plaza and Segerstrom Concert Hall. The first two condo towers to be built, dubbed The Californian at Town Center, will apparently look stunning at twilight, according to the provided renderings. The project developed by Fifield, will provide 250 condo units and some ground floor commercial in the form of a European cafe and a newsstand. Pricing remains unavailable as of now, but we're getting a low seven-figure vibe off these renderings. Construction starts Summer 2007.
