We think we lost Marissa in the frenzy surrounding tomorrow's first SoCal H&M opening. She may in fact be camped out in Pasadena as we type, credit card in hand with elbows sharpened. Today, the LA Times gives a spread on the hub-bub surrounding H&M's entry into the Los Angeles market and the ferocity of competition for cheap styles. In new news, the opening date of the Beverly Center branch is given as October 26th. Also, the OC Register reports that H&M will open two stores of varying sizes - 20,000 SF and 8,000 SF - in two wings of South Coast Plaza. The stores are expected to open in Spring 2007. Let the madness continue!
