That headline's not entirely true, but its close enough. Anaheim officials have begun soliciting proposals from developers hoping to build something - anything but an NFL stadium - in the parking lot of Angels Stadium. As The Register reports, the move comes after the NFL owners failed to select their city, or any city for that matter, to be home for a new SoCal franchise. Since the initial rush of excitement there has been little news from the owners on their preffered site - Anaheim or the Los Angeles Coliseum. We assume that this added delay has allowed Pasadena's Rose Bowl to sneak back into the mix. As we posted yesterday, Pasadena is sneaking around trying to gauge interest in luxury boxes. Maybe they know something we don't. Bastards.
