Teabagging on Fairfax

We were just saying the other day that when the temperature starts climbing past 100, what we're really in the mood for is...hot tea. And maybe some clotted cream. Yeah, nothing refreshes like scones with clotted cream and sometimes you just need it now, and not in a month at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Luckily, there's a new tea shop opening on Fairfax, the oh so creatively-named T on Fairfax (we would have much preferred some more teabagging puns). Billing itself as "a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic British-style tea house" the shop will be open late-ish (midnight weekdays, 1am fri and sat), thus satisfying the delicate "cucumber sandwich with the crusts cut off" needs of raging alcoholics stumbling out of the Dime and Largo at night, as well as the "this fruit tart is sending me into insulin shock" needs of the diabetic elderly who populate the neighborhood during the day.
