A reader gives us our first dispatch from the trenches at the AIA Conference: "...just got back from the AIA World LA Party - lots of round tortoise shell glasses and architect food. Mayor Antonio gave a short speech with the usual buzzwords but nothing interesting. hosted bar was cool but the coffee was cold and gritty."
