Miniatures Move to FL, A+D Finds Fourth Home

The LA Times briefly highlights the A+D Museum's new home on Wilshire. The space was formerly occupied by the Carole and Barry Kaye Museum of Miniatures, who has now moved to FL (where else?). The new space, opposite LACMA, is the fourth for the roving museum, who was formerly housed by "the portico space in the Bradbury Building downtown; a Sunset Boulevard address in a West Hollywood space; and a location on Broadway in Santa Monica." The first exhibition in its new home is "New Blood" a collection of work from 39 architects, landscape architects and designers working in Los Angeles. The show will be part of tonight's Design Guide Miracle Mile event, timed to coincide with the AIA convention. Will they unpack this time, settle in, print new business cards? Like Liz Taylor insisting this time the marriage is going to last, the Museum insists it is there to stay.
