Cartography reports that the European Space Agency has unleashed a torrent of new satellite images online. The files range in size from a manageable 300 KB JPG to a more detailed 300 MB TIFF. The images of Southern California are limited but nonetheless interesting to look at. We admit we're map whores and can stare at maps for hours. So if you're into that sort of thing, it's worth checking out.
