As much as it pains us to compliment the LA Times, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention how good the 125th anniversary special Home section was this weekend. But if you have a print copy of the paper, you may have missed the interactive feature "A Look Back at Real Estate" that pinpoints 27 lesser-known architectural landmarks - with pictures! and sound! and maps!. Of course, the Venice Canals and Beverly Hills (yup, all of 90210 is one of the "landmarks") aren't exactly obscure, but Jackie Robinson's boyhood home and The Brady Bunch house fit the bill. Its a real estate nerd's wet dream - even our current obsession, Zillow.com, and The Office of the Assessor get their due.
