Restaurant Real Estate Roundup

The trend in one word restaurants names continues, with the opening of Bridge in the old Alta Palato space on La Cienega, the old LA Belle Epoque space on Hillhurst in Los Feliz will soon be known as June, and a new cafe opening soon on Beverly called Milk.

And bucking the one-word naming trend, but clinging to the usual opening delay cliches, Jeffrey Chodorow will finally be opening Social Hollywood any minute in the updated Hollywood Athletic Club space.

Another Eat Well? It seems LA's appetite for hip diners and cheap food continues to grow. With Silverlake, West Hollywood and Glendale already covered, Eat Well seems to be moving into the old Cafe Tartine space on Beverly near La Brea. EatingLA reports the proprietors are already advertising for staff.

Yi Cuisine is for sale. If you have an extra $800,000 lying around and want to move into the wildly exciting and always successful world of LA dining, that space can be yours. Surely one of the cast members of That 70s show is looking to invest in yet another celeb-infested watering hole.

And finally, no news on BataliWatch 06. If you have an update, feel free to post it in the comments. We're waiting with bated breath.
