Rumblings and Bumblings: Skinny Edition

Hello all. This week’s episode of R&B is pretty slim, so we hope to get all of these questions covered. Please email your responses, comments, or questions to la@curbed.com by Thursday.

1) Hollywood/Universal City: A reader wants to know more with the hope that it will not be CityWalk 2 and the hope that the Uni "police" don't get more jurisdiction. “Do you know where I could find a map indicating the parcel of land that NBC/Uni plans to develop? Also, have you heard any talk of more retail/entertainment development along Cahuenga West? This area seems ripe for gentrification, so I'm curious to see if it will turn into a sort of Ventura East.”

2) Hollywood/Cahuenga Pass: We admit, this one is ours because we have driven by here for years. Does anyone know what will be replacing the Hollywood Bungalows on Cahuenga Blvd. West? We suddenly noticed one day that they were torn down.

3) Park La Brea/3rd Street/Fairfax: Between our "Account Update" and penis enlargement spam, a reader wrote in to inform us that the site of Ross store on 3rd Street across from The Grove was originally slated to become senior housing as part of the development agreement (for the Palazzo), but now the developer wants to invalidate the agreement and build more condos. Is this reader blowing hot air or is there any legitimacy to this claim?
