Burbank Entertainment Village: Now You Can Live There

Cityfeet reports that Burbank Entertainment Village PHASE II is about to get under way. We're aroused beyond belief at the thought of more entertainment in Burbank, and can't wait for this PHASE II to be open.
The Champion Development Group of Los Angeles plans 118 condominiums, 40,000 sf of retail space with restaurants and a 731-space parking garage at the Burbank Collection, the second phase of the $90-million Burbank Entertainment Village. The L.A. developer recently closed escrow on a two-acre parcel in Downtown Burbank that will be the development site and expects to begin construction immediately. PHASE II should not be confused with PHASE I, which included a Chipotle Grill, Coldstone Creamery and 16-Theater AMC Megaplex. The new development will provide 60 live-work lofts and 58 luxury apartment homes, so the young entertainment professionals can move out of Hollywood and move to Burbank to live closer to a Coldstone Creamery and a movie theater. Perkowitz + Ruth is the architect of record for the development, which is scheduled for completion in 2008.
