The Valley's Own "Castle"

When they said, “A man’s home is his castle,” we think that was meant to be interpreted figuratively. Sadly, many of our fellow L.A. denizens lack a certain sarcastic wit and tend to take things a little too literally. Take, for instance, this fellow – or lady, but we seriously doubt it – on Hortense St. in West Toluca Lake (that’s Realtor talk for North Hollywood), as pointed out to us on LAist. Apparently, he really did want a castle as his home. And how classy it is! Having a turret in the Valley is as close to royalty as one can get. Did someone forget to tell him that we abolished the monarchy from this country about 230 years ago?
