A vehicle with brake failure skidded into an Orange Line bus Monday, but nobody was injured, a sheriff's lieutenant said. The collision occurred on the Orange Line bus way between Corbin Avenue and Winnetka Boulevard near Warner Center at 5:07 p.m., according to Lt. Nancy Iwata of the sheriff's Transit Bureau.
We've noticed an abundance of brake failures near the Orange Line busway. Scary. We thought brake failure was something that only happened on episodes of "CHiPs".
