Something must be afoot in the Valley. They seem to be really antsy for some kind of revolution up there. First it was the vote to secede; now there is a Neighborhood Council divorce. Our friends at Citywatch report that the Mid-Town North Hollywood Neighborhood Council has voted to (sniff!) split into three different Councils. This is the first time that a Council has split. But why?
Three or four things, it would seem: 1) More bucks; 2) More citywide representation; 3) Help for the under-represented areas within the present council boundaries. That’s all fine and dandy, but what about the children? Now don’t go getting any ideas, the rest of you Neighborhood Councils!
