Zillow Beating up on MLS

This may be old news to some of you, but in case you didn’t know, Zillow may be cruising to put some realtors out of business (if the market doesn’t do it already). Everyone’s favorite wacky not-always-accurate home pricing website will now allow users to post virtual “for sale” signs on their properties. They can also post photos, house descriptions, and neighborhood commentary. It sounds suspiciously like the MLS but without the weird abbreviations and grammatical errors. And, users can do all of this for free. As one reader posited, “will this do for realtors what Expedia did for travel agents?”
