Not to be outdone by the Golden Triangle in Los Angeles, Anaheim is unabashed in its inferiority complex by moving ahead with the development of its own Platinum Triangle near Angel Stadium. The plans include retail, restaurants, offices, 8000 condos, and a large sculpture of an erect middle finger pointed at L.A. In response to a shortage of lacking office space in North OC, Steadfast Business Properties just submitted plans for a 22-story office “tower” in the neighborhood, just the second office building proposed for the glam triangle. For those seeking the ultimate in exclusivity, projects in the Platinum Triangle will have names like Lesley Hills, Bel-Water, and Holmby Cliffs.
