Excited by our own coverage, duped by photographic evidence and first person accounts, we headed over to Mozza for lunch today, ready to take on some lardo, or perhaps a little finnochiona (which friends of ours are quick to point out, is slang in italy for "homosexual," which only whets our appetite more. who doesn't want to eat fennel-scented homosexual sausage? It's delicious!). Alas, it was not to be. The pizzeria is still not open, despite our reader's lunch delivery yesterday. Latest rumored opening date: Nov 15. Hopefully by then the strong smell of fresh paint and dashed expectation will have dissipated.
