The Biggest Price Losers #003

Welcome back to our celebration of price plunges. This week we feature Beverly Hills homes. Though there were a lot of close contenders, of the homes we looked at, the following three had the greatest price slashes.


1656 Loma Vista Dr.
Original List Price: $4.75 million
Sale Price: $3.595 million
Percent Reduction: 24.3%
As the realtor put it, “Major reduction.” We’re sure that was painful for him/her.


9930 Westwanda Dr.
Original List Price: $1.25 million
Sale Price: $950,000
Percent Reduction: 24%
There’s probably a reason that the house is “skillfully” obscured by trees in all of the photos. No, Mr. Seller, that piece ain’t worth over $1 million.


9784 Suffolk Dr.
Original List Price: $3.195 million
Sale Price: $2.499 million
Percent Reduction: 21.7%
Frankly, we’re not sure what the problem is here. Oh wait, that’s an obscene amount of money, and there are a lot more houses out there now.
